One of our favorite cocktails is the classic Manhattan. With a few modifications, however, it can be turned into the perfect Fall beverage.
Flavorful and booze-forward, this Manhattan has sweet notes of orange and cherry thanks to a red vermouth made in Montefalco (Umbria, Italy) and wild Italian Amarena cherries, as well as Vermont sourced organic orange maple bitters and WhistlePig maple syrup by Runamok Maple. Substitute WhistlePig bourbon to minimize spice and increase the sweetness of your cocktail.
4 oz. WhistlePig Rye Whisky
1/2 oz. Raina Vermouth Numero Uno
1 Tsp. WhistlePig Runamok Maple Syrup
3 dashes Runamok Maple Orange Bitters
1 Filthy wild Italian Amarena cherry

Marrakech Martini Glass by Caskata
Marrakech Mixing glass by Caskata or cocktail shaker by True
Start your fireplace (optional) and/or light candles. Place ice in a martini glass, filling it with water to the brim. Add ice to your mixing glass or cocktail shaker. Pour the first four (4) ingredients in the mixing glass/shaker and place the cherry on your cocktail pick. Stir the contents of the mixing glass/shaker for approximately 30 seconds. Dump out the ice water from the martini glass and place the cherry in the glass. Strain the contents from the mixing glass/shaker into the martini glass. Enjoy Fall!
