Snowy Owl is thrilled to bring back a fan favorite origin, Burundi 🇧🇮 with a fresh release from their longtime partner, Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian, of JNP Coffee. Since 2019, Jeanine and her network of women producers have been a consistent source of extraordinary coffees, and their Cape-based community has come to eagerly anticipate each new release.
This year’s offering features Bahire, a vibrant and complex washed lot from the Ngozi region. “Bahire” means “be well” in Kirundi.
With notes of cranberry, honey, peach, and a silky finish, this coffee embodies everything we love about Burundi: bright acidity, layered sweetness, and unmistakable elegance.
